Dr. Elisa Song, MD, is a Stanford-, NYU-, and UCSF-trained integrative pediatrician with over 25 years of clinical experience and a focus on addressing the underlying causes of illness, many of which stem from the gut microbiome. As the founder of Whole Family Wellness, she guided thousands of families toward optimal health by integrating conventional pediatrics with functional medicine.
Since joining Tiny Health as a Medical Advisor in June 2023, Dr. Song has played a pivotal role in advancing the company's mission. She was instrumental in developing the clinical-grade PRO Gut Health Test, which empowers practitioners and families with actionable microbiome insights to improve health outcomes.
In 2024, Dr. Song became our Chief Medical Officer, continuing her efforts to address the rise in chronic conditions affecting children. She also educates families worldwide through her online platform, which bridges the gap between traditional and integrative pediatric care. Her 2024 book, Healthy Kids, Happy Kids, provides practical strategies for building resilient bodies, brains, and immune systems through microbiome health.
She is a lecturer for the Center for Education and Development in Clinical Homeopathy, the Academy for Pain Research, the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the Holistic Pediatric Association, among others.
Dr. Song is committed to equipping families and practitioners with cutting-edge microbiome science to transform children's health for generations to come.
