At Tiny Health, we are determined to help families address the root cause of chronic conditions, from the critical first 1,000 days of life through adulthood. Chronic conditions affect nearly 1 in 2 children in the U.S., and many of our efforts focus on educating parents and practitioners about the power of healing the microbiome.

Today, we are thrilled to introduce two incredible leaders who will play a vital role in guiding our mission forward: Dr. Elisa Song as Chief Medical Officer and Dr. Taylor Sittler as our newest Board Director.

We’re deeply grateful to Dr. Song, who has already been part of the Tiny Health team as Medical Advisor since June 2023 and was instrumental in helping us develop our clinical-grade PRO Gut Health Test

Now, as Chief Medical Officer, she brings her wealth of experience to help us bring actionable insights to families and healthcare practitioners. Dr. Song's journey includes over 25 years of clinical experience as a Stanford-, NYU-, and UCSF-trained integrative pediatrician. She’s an acclaimed author who is passionate about holistic care and addressing the root causes of illness, many of which stem from the gut microbiome.

“I am honored to step into the role of Chief Medical Officer. Chronic conditions are on the rise, and Tiny Health is equipping practitioners with cutting-edge microbiome science to meet the moment. By empowering families with practical, actionable microbiome insights, I believe we can make a real difference in children's health outcomes.” - Dr. Elisa Song

Also joining is Dr. Taylor Sittler, who will serve as a Board Director. Dr. Sittler is a UMass- and UCSF-trained Board-Certified Pathologist, physician entrepreneur, and angel investor. His leadership at organizations like Color Genomics and Levels Health has pushed the boundaries of health technology, and we’re excited to have his expertise at Tiny Health. He is passionate about using technology and machine learning to transform medical practice.

“Tiny Health has built the highest quality platform for assessment of the microbiome, an important emerging modality in root cause evaluation, particularly for young children and their families. I’m excited to join Tiny Health’s board at a time when the company is poised to deepen its impact in the clinical space.” - Dr. Taylor Sittler

Since announcing our partnership with Rupa Health, our network has grown to over 1,000 health practitioners, with new clinicians joining every month to integrate the most advanced gut and vaginal testing available into their standard of care.

“We’re excited to welcome Dr. Song and Dr. Sittler to the Tiny Health family. Their expertise in conventional and integrative medicine is invaluable as we continue to innovate and expand.” - Cheryl Sew Hoy, Tiny Health CEO & founder

As highlighted in a recent Washington Post article, Tiny Health’s microbiome tests are meeting a growing need for deeper insights, helping families who haven't found answers elsewhere.

We are so excited about this next chapter, and we’re deeply thankful to have these two exceptional leaders join us. Together, we look forward to empowering even more families with the knowledge they need to make the best decisions for their children’s health.
